My sincere condolences to the family of the late Fergus Walsh Sen. A man with a big heart, of lovely voice and sound common sense, not to mention his infectious humour....and oh all those jokes!
Rest in peace my dear dear friend. I am going to truly .miss you.

Saddened to hear of the death of my old friend Fergus. A dynamic figure in the Lombard firmament, and such mighty craic in the Limerick rugby pubs and clubs when work was done. Condolences to all his family, especially Allanah, who I also recall fondly..
Sincere sympathy to Alannah and family on Fergus's untimely death. Happy memories of time spent in Ennis Tennis Club. RIP
Mark ,
I was just chatting to Lloydie about your Father's passing . I'm very sorry to hear this sad news. Please extend my sincere condolences to Alannah, David, Siobhan and Fergus.
As I type this , I'm looking at the scar on my thumb after breaking that " chandelier " into smithereens in the sitting room , it was a difficult 10ft putt ! I avoided Fergus after that for a while :)
I remember him teaching me how to dive pass on the back pitch 40+ yrs ago...a skill I struggled with a tad, you, however, were a chip off the old block.,
Mind Yourself ,

The best rendition of "The Isle" I ever heard and Fergus was life and soul of many a great night at club.
He was an absolute gentleman and I appreciated his professional advice on many occasions. BOFS corner will never be the same again. May he Rest in Peace.

Deepest sympathy to Fergus's kids as I know them. Sorry I cannot attend the funeral. Fergus had plenty of contacts here in Ennis where he grew up the son of the late Claire Parson who later married Nicholas Howley of the Ennis Hardware Store, 14 Parnell Street. I trust that Fergus will now enjoy better and more competitive Tennis matches . It it sad that he did not have a longer life.
The Executive Committee, Members and Friends of Boyne RFC extend its deepest sympathy to Fergus Jnr and the Walsh family at this sad time. May he rest in Peace.
I knew Fergus from the tennis club where I worked for almost 8 years back in the late 90's/ early 00's - such a gentleman. RIP Fergus

Fergus was one of a kind, great company always a delight to meet, He was a true friend and a tireless worker for his beloved Bohs and no mean scrum half for Munster and club.
