The Dunne’s were great neighbours many years ago on Maryborough Hill (Douglas) . Christiana you were great friends with my late parents Annie and Jack Twomey , you and Barry had tea several times in our home . Great memories with lots of laughs . Happy days .

I was so sad to hear of this death. I met Finbar on a few occasions and he was witty and very well respected in Ireland and Africa. Patrick told me of his political career in Africa and was amazed at his very colourful life.
My heart goes out to Christina who has lost her soulmate and of course Patrick, who is a good friend of mine and his wife Sue and all the grandchildren. I send on my condolences to everyone on this sad week.

Dear Christina and Patrick, I’m so sorry for your loss. I will always hold such fond memories of Barry, his kindness and his humour! I can still hear him calling out “You’re a donkey” and his little chuckle afterwards. Lukas & Eli adored him and will sorely miss him but will always have their fond memories too. We’re all thinking of you during this very difficult time.
