I am so sad at the news of Barry's untimely death. He was a great friend and a great advocate for pilots. It was his vision and his persistence that led to the establishment of a new relationship between Aer Lingus and IALPA. Every pilot in IALPA has benefited from the work he did from the signing of the first dispute resolution agreement, which led to the establishment of the Pay Review and from which pilots still benefit. His clarity of thought and his continuously calming inputs were crucial to what was achieved. He will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to Helen, Mark, Leah, and all the family.
