Sincere sympathy to Deirdre and all the Drinan Family. Your loss is enormous with Finbarr's death, as he was just a wonderful person. I have fond and enduring memories of how he introduced us to the beauty and splendour of the Maharees, Castlegregory, Kilshannig, Spillanes, the unique fauna of the dunes, fishing on the back strand, the sweep of the mountains and the majestic inner Tralee bay, etc, all places close to Finbarr's heart.
It was always uplifting to meet Finbarr, whom for years I held in affection & esteem. May he now be with Jesus and be well rewarded for all the good he did over the years. Finbarr, Kerry will be poorer without you and may your bed be a soft one in heaven.

We've just watched the on-line funeral mass for Finbarr, wishing we'd been there, with the family and friends.

I cannot remember my years in Moorepark without thinking about Finbarr, he was such a huge part of Moorepark life. Ever the gentleman, always so helpful at work and such a joy to socialise with. Have so many happy memories of time spent in his company.
