Condolences to Maria and family on the passing of Finbarr.

Condolences to Maria, the extended Meehan family, at your sad loss of Finbarr. As cousins, we met too infrequently over the years. Always to be remembered, are the long hours Finbarr spent trudging along the shoreline in Passage/ Horsehead, lugging a bucket almost as big as himself, as we sought to relieve the river Lee of as many shrimp as possible those many years ago.

I was so sorry to hear of Finbarr's passing. What a terrible loss
I was lucky enough to call him my friend and I can honestly say he taught me so much. I still carry many of our chats and conversations with me to this day. It was a privilege to know Finbarr and the sun will shine a little less bright without him.
My thoughts are with his family at this sad time xxx

To Finbarr's family and friends, I am so sorry to hear of Finbarr's passing and am thinking of you all at this sad time. I have very fond memories of Finbarr. His kindness, generosity, warmth, willingness to help others, and ability to bring a crowd together, are only a small number of the many positive traits he possessed. He was a lovely man, who had time for everybody and would help anybody. Finbarr's passing is a huge loss to the many people who cared for him. He may be gone, but he will never be forgotten. May Finbarr rest in peace.
