Please accept our sincerest condolences at the loss of Finin. He was a wonderful character and a truly great friend to our Dad. From the day he opened his restaurant they became good friends, and he was a good friend to us too. We celebrated anniversaries, birthdays, weddings and funerals all at Finin’s, as well as everyday lunches. He always made us feel welcome and took the time for a chat when we came in.
His food was exceptional and comforting, we always knew that we would have a great meal when we went there.

Thank you Finin for many wonderful meals and fond memories. Your gracious hospitality meant the world to us, may you rest in peace.

It was always a special occasion going for a meal in Finin’s Restaurant with a hearty welcome from Finin & his staff & lovely food duly served. Deepest condolences to the entire O'Sullivan family. I was very sad to hear of the passing of Finín. I have very fond memories of being in the restaurant for the best food (especially the veg soup) and having chats with Finín. He was an absolute gent.

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your lovely Dad Finín. I remember you coming over to Elaine’s house and hadn’t Finín prepared a gin and tonic for you to bring with you to Elaine’s house. I just thought it was the cutest thing when you peeled back the cling film that had protected it for the journey to Castle Redmond! Finín had created ultimate takeaway gin and tonic to perfection! A most thoughtful work of genius for his daughter- I remember thinking.
