Dear Malcolm, Orla, Aisling and families, so many condolences on the passing of one of life's real gems. Finola was an amazing force of nature and super sharp. My sister Louise has a memory of Finola telling her about the photo of her on the day she was born .... and then she immediately said to her, "to be brutally honest, you looked like an alien". Louise loved that comment and has never forgotten Finola's genuine honesty. For my part, I will always have fond memories of visiting the pharmacy where she and Nicky worked together for years. She was so kind, interesting and generous with her time, and she just made my siblings and I giggle all of the time. She was also a great woman for investing in the family tree and its history. Love to you all and thinking of you in this difficult time.

Fondest memories of Finola and McDonalds Pharmacy. Finola was our pharmacist for a lifetime and we stayed loyal to them until they closed, despite the fact that our area had been allocated local access to a pharmacy. First set foot in McDonald's Pharmacy in the fifties and Finola was at all times, like her mother before her, committed to excellence and detail and treated every customer as a personal friend. She was always there to give advice and provided a wonderful service.
