My heartfelt condolences to Ruth, Susanna, Jamie, Jacob, Nina, extended family and friends on the very sad loss of your beloved Husband, Dad and Grandad Fintan, RIP, Fintan was truly an aesthete, I spent many happy hours under his expert tutelage inspiring a love of classical music and Opera. Fintan taught me that beauty exists to nourish the soul, and music, a joy that words simply cannot capture, a fair and glorious gift of God.

His life was a masterpiece, composed with care, and lived with passion, adoring of his beloved Wife Ruth, his Daughter Susanna, Grandchildren Jacob and Nina and many others that he welcomed, creating a beautiful community that surrounded him, a wonderful neighbour and friend. Dear Ruth, susannah, Jamie and extended family. I am so sad to know that you have lost your lovely husband and Daddy.
We had great chats whilst l did his feet. Probably why l always ran late!!
I loved fintan so much for his eloquence, knowledge and his love of the arts.
His most important love was for his beloved wife Ruth and Susannah, of whom he was so proud, as he was of his grandchildren.
I am proud to have been his friend and l wish l had known him for longer. I wish COVID had not got in the way. It meant that we could not meet for a long time.
