Fiodhna Callanan

Fiodhna has travelled with me over a few years as my therapist and supervisor. It has been a pleasure to meet her. I always felt held by her warmth, her curiosity and her professionality.
I'm very sad to hear of her passing. Fly high, Fiodhna!

I first met Fiodhna on 14/9/2024 in Dublin at an IFS training organised by IAHIP. It was such a special seminar full of care & great insights delivered with such gentleness & kindliness by Fiodhna.
I recall going up to her at the end of the day to thank her for such an enjoyable workshop. She responded with such warmth & appreciation.
I am deeply shocked today to hear of her sudden passing in Nov. My deepest sympathy to her husband & children & to the large circles of friends, neighbours & colleagues who so valued this very special person.

My deepest sympathies to Fiodhna's beautiful family Colm, Rosín and Fionn and extended family. She has been taken so suddenly, shockingly and far too soon. She was a beacon of light for so many, and has left us the amazing legacy of her vision of love and justice.
For the last twelve years I have had the privilege of knowing her and working with her as a supervisee. I looked forward to every session in the sure knowledge that each walk across the stepping stones to her garden room would bring a new gift; a changed perspective, inspiration or insight or best of all the gift of being seen and understood. I always came away energised and with a huge sense of privilege and gratitude. Those gifts will never leave me. What an amazing and special person . With love and heartfelt thanks

What a beautiful service, a tribute to an amazing woman who touched so many hearts. She will be truly missed. Her grace and kindness will never be forgotten. I feel privilaged and truly blessed to have known Fiodhna.

When I met Fiodhna, I was heavy with pain. Week after week thanks to her patience, compassion and skill I left her garden room feeling lighter than when I arrived. Until eventually the lightness started to stay with me through the week.
I will always be grateful to have met Fiodhna when I did. She had a really positive impact on my life.

Cully, Roisin & Fionn so sorry to hear of the passing of Fiodhna. Life can be so cruel at times, she has gone too soon. She was a such a lovely lady. No words will bring you any comfort at this sad time. She loved you all dearly, and she spoke about you fondly so many times. I was lucky enoigh to get to know Fiodhna through Snamhai So, we had so many fun times, she will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Roisin, we are so sorry about the passing of your mam, Fiodhna. We are thinking of you, Fionn and your dad Cully at this very difficult time.

Fiodhna was a beacon of warmth and understanding, someone who held the pain of others with such care that it seemed lighter, more bearable. And now, we sit with the heaviness of her absence, feeling the weight of what she gave to so many.

There’s an ache in knowing she is gone, but also a bittersweet beauty in realizing how deeply she was loved, how profoundly she touched the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. Her presence was a gift, and the pain now is a testament to how much she meant.

n the midst of this sorrow, we all hold her memory close. Together, we carry her light, even through the darkest moments of this grief. May time bring some balm to this pain, and may her spirit continue to guide and comfort us, as she always did.
