I am only after hearing the very sad news re Fiona’s passing. Deepest sympathies to you Mark and to the Morrissey and Kelly families. I only got to know Fiona a few years ago during lockdown when she cycled her bike past my house late in the evening. She stopped one evening and we chatted for a very long time and every time I was in my garden thereafter, when she cycled by there was a big hello or chat . May her gentle soul rest in peace .

Just after finding out of Fiona death and illness. I am totally shocked and devastated. Fiona and I did a PhD around the same time and in similar area. Fiona did tremendous work on advanced health director for those with mental health difficulties

So sad to hear of Fiona's passing. I have fond memories of Fiona from school and Renmore. Last time I met Fiona was at Oranmore Castle market last year and it was great to see her. She looked so elegant and was super friendly as always. She will be sorely missed. Condolances to her family.

I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of Fiona's passing. I had the pleasure of working with her at the Centre for Disability Law and Policy at the University of Galway. She educated and inspired those she worked with. Her research and advocacy on the rights of people with psychosocial disabilities leaves a noble and enduring legacy.
