My sincere sympathies to you all. I am sad and in shock as I only just heard the news yesterday. I had many lovely conversations with Finn over the last number of years during my time working in Progressive Genetics. It was my pleasure to know her.

Finn was such an amazing friend and colleague. Ever since my first day in Sherry Fitz I sat next to Finn and she made me feel so welcome to Dublin. She would talk about her three sisters so much to the point that we felt we knew them and of course the star of the show that she loved so, so much - Meron. Finn would walk into the office at 9am with her basket and glamorous outfit, then 10 minutes later she would be down from the kitchen with 2 x ham and cheese croissants, coffees and orange juice! Where else would you find it!? She knew how to live! She was so bubbly, fun, vivacious and most of all kind. Sincere condolences to all the family. A bientot beautiful Finn x

So shocked and saddened to hear of Finn's death. What an amazing strong beautiful lady. She will be missed by everyone as she cycled, and walked around Greystones always looking so glamorous. Many a problem was sorted on the Golf course and boy did she have lots to live for. Life is very cruel to take her so young. So sorry for all the Egan family's loss. How do you say good-bye to an amazing, vibrant, bubbly, fun-loving, elegant lady such as Finn when you felt, you had so many more years and memories to share with her?
I have no words, but I know my life has been enriched for having Finn in it. I will miss Finn but I'm lucky that I have many happy memories of Finn recently and I will never forget her.
Julie, Paula, Deirdre and family we are so sorry for your heartache but please remember what a wonderful funeral service you gave Finn yesterday. I really think she would have loved it and in her own words, yes I could hear her saying with that massive smile "I WAS FABULOUS"iiii and yes she is, was and always will be. xxxx

I am so shocked to hear about Finnula's untimely passing.She was one of the friendliest people I have ever had the privilege to know.Finn was such a genuine person,always interested in whomever she met and not full of her own importance. Paula, Deirdre and Julie, words are so meaningless at a time like this when your dear Finn has been taken from you so suddenly. I had the pleasure and honor of getting to know your dear sister over the past two and a half years and the joy for life that she had every day was infectious to me and to all around her. She made every day one worth living and I am so grateful to her for that. Finn loved living she saw the good in each day be that walking, golfing, drinking wine or whisking up meals from nothing! She was so generous in her time and wisdom and she was such a pleasure to be around. I enjoyed our brief holiday last year where she packed like a queen with no suitcase (still not sure how she did that!) danced on tables, ate in the most beautiful random restaurants that she found via people she met ie bus drivers! and helped me enjoy my "solo" holiday so much more with her spirit for life and her companionship. I have been blessed to know her and I wish you all time to grieve and heal she will live forever in all our hearts.

Our deepest sympathy to Julie, Deirdre and Paula and Finns extended family and especially to her dear friends Louise Doyle and Jennifer Corish it is through their friendships I reconnected with Finn and found a kindred spirit in her love of adventure, her appreciation of her friends and family and her ‘Joie de Vivre ‘. Heartbroken and saddened at Fionnualas Loss, a friend i have known since school and teenage years. Some friends you dont see all the time, but when you do, the memories and history you share make the years in between just drop away. It was lovely to reconnect with her in more recent years, particularly on a trip to France, which i will always remember and cherish, the amazing food and wine day in the french countryside 'Les delices de la moure' - fabulous! Fionnuala lived life to the full, and her zest and vivaciousness will be remebered by all. But what i will remember most about her was her enormous kindness, to all around her, man and animal, she had it in abundance. RIP Finn xx

Back in the eighties I had the good fortune of meeting and becoming a close friend of Finn, a friendship that grew and blossomed when Finn honoured me by becoming my bridesmaid. Unknown to us both ,Tomás, my husband coincidentally happened to be Finn's second cousin. It came as a massive shock to both Tomás and I to hear the very sad news of Finns sudden death. She always had a smile that lit up anywhere she was and a personality that people were drawn to. The world is a sadder place without her. May you, Deirdre, Paula, Julie and extended family find solace in the great memories you have of Finn. May she rest in peace.
