I have such happy memories of times in your lovely home, all those years ago, and remember your mom baked wonderful pastries on my confirmation day, and all the many kindnesses. I am so sorry to see this notice. There’s something about the death of a Mother that is inexpressibly sad. For it to happen so close to Christmas is heartbreaking for all the family.
I remember your mother. She called in unexpectedly to see you in the School of Nursing. I think it was after a house exam. Then at your Graduation she was happily meeting the parents of your friends.
