Great memories of her at an Grianan and ICA craft days. She will be missed by all her crafting friends, may she rest in peace.

Tonight we are so sad to hear that our old friend Florrie has left this world after a long life, she had seen her grandchildren, great grandchildren & great grandchild born. She was a very talented lady especially with her handcrafts, she loved her ICA especially visiting An Grianan where she taught crafts. She used to visit us in Lucan Guild & taught us many crafts we loved her funny rhymes & stories & we missed her so much when she moved to Rathdowney. My dear Auntie Florrie was such a big part of my life. I loved her very much.

Being a brilliant seamstress, she made my communion and confirmation dress (with coat) ! Also when I was her bridesmaid, she made a lovely pink dress for me. I learnt to sew under her wing and she even got me my first job sewing, where we worked together. I have such fond memories of my lovely Auntie Florrie.

I know her girls will miss her very much and they are in my thoughts.
