Florence (Florrie) O'Sullivan

I was so saddened today to hear of Florence’s passing, I had missed her in the Glen of the Downs where i used to frequently meet her, chat, walk together over many years, she was an amazing woman, over the years you would meet her with Great Danes, Boxers, Jack Russels, all sorts of dogs that she rescued and rehomed, she cared deeply for the wildlife in the glen also, Thank you Florrie for all the fantastic work you done with all animals over the years, I will miss you x

Sincere sympathy to Florence's family and friends on her loss. She had a great heart in which any animal in need found shelter. May she find the same shelter now with the Creator of all of us.

Florence was one of those people who puts the “neighbour” in “neighbourhood”. Her kindness to animals was remarkable.

Florence was a friendly face throughout most of my time working in the ESRI. She was always helpful. If you did not know her you would have missed her contribution to the smooth running of the institute.

Sincere condolences to the family of Florence. Fourteen years ago we met her at our home as she introduced us to the best addition to our family, a much loved puppy who is still with us and brings us joy every day.

We have Florence to thank for bringing our dearly loved cat Remi into our lives several years ago.
Her sense of compassion for animals was very evident every time we met at the handover stage of the 'adoption'.
