I had the great benefit of attending Togher BNS as a pupil and returning as a young teacher. As principal, Flor modelled care and compassion for the pupils especially the vulnerable. He also led a staff who were committed to high academic standards. As a pupil and teacher this has stood to me and so many others in the Togher community. Go ndéana Dia grásta air.

Flor was Principal when I attended Togher primary school and I wont ever forget his encouragement when it came to my writing and the extra homework he had me do in the form of essays. It was his way of trying to bring out the best in me of course. His advice on how I should be reading O Conner and O Faolain I'll always remember as well. It was back at that time when I really began a love affair with the written word. The memory of Flor giving of his time to encourage has stayed with me even to this day. It still feels as if it was yesterday. He has left such a huge footprint behind.
I appreciate greatly your inspiration and kindness Flor and you deserve every accolade you have or will ever receive. You will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten. Thanks so much Flor for everything. It meant something.

I knew Flor & his sister Kathleen for many years in the theatre world and played opposite Flor in leading roles in Cork Opera House and also with Kathleen in the McBrien AOH record breaking production of "UP CORK" many years ago. As a young teacher who arrived in Togher in the early nineties I was fortunate to be mentored by many outstanding teachers from both TBNS and TGNS.
As principal Flor had wonderful vision and saw that although both schools were separate, together they were part of the incredible community that is Togher.
His willingness and commitment to having TGNS and TBNS working for the better good of both our students and their families helped forge bonds between the schools that continue to this day.

Flor was such a kind man with endless optimism and an amazing sense of humour. I still remember his wonderful smile and many kindnesses to me, my colleagues and students during events such as First Holy Communion and Confirmation days.
Although he retired many years ago Flor is still fondly remembered in TGNS.

As a fellow educator and community leader Flor was a wonderful colleague to the staff at TGNS.He believed both schools to be co-partners in the education of our young students in Togher, a legacy that continues to this day.
Staff, past pupils of TGNS and their families remember fondly Mr.Dullea's kindness and positivity when both schools came together to prepare for and celebrate the First Holy Communion and Confirmation ceremonies.

He was an optimistic principal who saw potential in all and inspired students,their families and teachers in both TBNS & TGNS to be ambitious in both education and life endeavours.

May he enjoy his eternal reward with his beloved wife Eileen.

He was a great friend of the Shamrock Drama Group, Ringaskiddy, always willing to support and encourage us, especially as we prepared for the Drama Festivals. His good friend, and fellow Director, Donal O'Connor R.I.P. valued Flor's opinion and Flor was always generous in sharing his knowledge of drama. We shared some wonderful evening's entertainment with Flor down through the years.

As a former pupil of Mr. Dullea, he was firm and always fair. Later in life Flor was a pleasure to meet and always interested to hear how you were doing.

Flor was a giant of a man in more ways than one. He was very well respected by all who knew him. I can confirm that the name Flor Dullea carried a lot of weight as a reference on your CV. It opened doors for me as a young man from Togher starting out in the world and for this I will always be very grateful.
