Polly What a vivacious woman intelligent charming talkative was always in good form full of life .she will be missed
Sincere sympathies to Polly's family on her sad passing. Bank of Ireland, Blackrock, was my first branch to work in as a young girl in 1972. Polly was in charge of us ladies upstairs in the ledger room (no males worked there as they were needed front of office!!!) We had great times and great craic with Polly as our senior in said room. Polly became our buddy and our confidant and we became hers. She had a fantastic personality and oozed wisdom and generosity. We also visited her in Lissadel where her love of gardening was very evident. You had a good life Polly. You have left great memories behind which we will treasure. Rest in peace.
So sorry to hear of Polly's passing - she was a great lady to work with in BOI Blackrock, she loved sharing stories of her family, gardening and life in general.
So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Polly, she was a lovely lady and we had some great times with granny Peggy. Polly was an amazing gardener, who shared her great knowledge with me over the years. May she rest in peace from Caroline, Sam, Ivan and Leah

So sad to hear of Pollys passing. My late mum Ann called to Polly weekly for many years and was so very fond of her as were we all. She was such an independent postive person with an huge energy for life and a huge generous heart to go with it. A long life lived so well. May you all find peace in treasured memories of wonderful times spent together and her wonderful sense of humor. Sincere condolences to all the Sheil family at this sad time.

So sad to hear of Polly's passing.I echo everything David Leonard said. She was a wonderful joyful & optimistic lady and we all enjoyed working with her in Blackrock and the many wonderful gatherings in Lissadel. May she rest well in Heavens great gardens. My sympathy to all Polly's family
Sincere condolences to all the Sheil family on the sad occasion of Polly’s passing - she was such a lovely happy person and it was a pleasure to have known her. When we worked together in Bank of Ireland Blackrock, Polly would collect me at Sandycove and let me drive her car so she could sit in the backseat and admire the view along the seafront! After she retired she hosted many lunches for all her former colleagues and so many of us got to enjoy her fabulous garden too.

You have been the keeper of so much that is positive, optimistic, passionate, and fun. You have been inspiration to us all where your passing from this world is sad indeed, but most of all, we happily celebrate that you lived. xxx
I have so many gorgeous memories of going in next door to visit Polly. She was full of fun and a great neighbour and friend to mum and dad. What a wonderful life, Polly was one in a million. Sending love to Susie and all the family from the O’Sullivans.
