While our family are heartbroken, like so many of his friends, we can only give thanks to God for the gift of knowing him and enjoying the privilege and benefit of his unconditional love, friendship, wise counsel, pure goodness, spiritual guidance and support through all our joys and sorrows for more than 50 years. Angelus we thank you for the Weddings, Christenings, Special Masses and most importantly the very painful funerals which you accompanied us through. We especially acknowledge the help you gave to our beloved Mam, Mollie, and know that she, our sister Anne (Nancy) your special friend, who was the first in the family to get to know you, and our brother Matt, our brother in law Myles, are standing in line to welcome you to your home in heaven We don’t know how we are going to manage without you to sustain us in the future,, but the best tribute we can make to you will be to follow your prayer “Reach out and touch the Lord as he goes by, You will find he’s not too busy to hear your heart’s cry, He is passing by this moment your needs to supply, Reach out and touch the Lord as he goes by”.
