Fr. Brendan played a special role in our lives. He baptized me in 1988, and also baptized my siblings, marking the beginning of our spiritual journeys with great care and kindness. His warmth, compassion, and presence will always be remembered.

We were privileged to have him serve in the Lyre/Duagh parish for many years. He was very much part of and supported our Community.
He visited our home every First Friday for many years providing spiritual support for Nana Horgan which culminated in the very special occasion of her 100th Birthday on St. Stephens Day 1996.....having delayed his Christmas trip home to Cork that year to support and celebrate with us.
He had a wonderful sense of humour and an infectious laugh which we enjoyed on his visits.

We had great chats and fun when he visited my home. A very charitable and deep thinking man who did a lot of great work for the school and parish. May he rest in peace.
