Memories of A Lovely Kind Gentleman Fr.Price was such A dedicated Help To The Balgaddy Parish and The School which Was Built in The 1980s .I Served On the board of mamagment with him..and he was A friend in time of need to Everyone rest in the arms of our Blessed Mother Mary Fr Price 🙏.

I was so so sorry to hear of the passing of Fr Price. I have known him since his time in Balgaddy. What a very special priest with so many gifts. May he rest in eternal Peace. Amen!

Sincere sympathy to all Fr Cathal's family and brother priests. A very kind priest who touched the heart of my niece at a baptism who unknown to him had terminable cancer. It gave us great consolation when she died. Rest in peace safely home in heaven Fr Cathal

I knew fr Cathal , as I was a member of the choir .he used to invite us over at Christmas time with Nuala Tuffy , Phyliss Duffy and Brita .He was very kind priest and great believer in the mercy of God and which I am too . He will be very sadly missed and by myself as I knew Fr Cathal Price through the choir in the church . May God shown his mercy to him .

I first met Fr Cathal in summer a few years back when we couldn’t get a priest to say a 12 noon funeral mass for my deceased wife. A lot of priests were on holidays and a friend said to see Fr Cathal who agreed to help out. After a short interview he agreed to help, his Homily was perfect and it was as if he had known my wife all his life. She had never met him but every word was perfect as I knew her. I hope she remembers you when ye meet in heaven as I know he is gone straight in the pearly gates.

Sorry to hear of Fr Price's passing. He was involved with the club from it's earlier days - helping out in many different ways - & never afraid to roll up his sleeves & get his hands dirty - even when clearing a plot of waste ground, by the river, on which to re-assemble an acquired old wooden hut - which was to be our clubhouse!! There are lots of stories of his paddling days - he was never going to reach the world class stage but he had lots of fun in his attempts - & got plenty of swimming practice en route!! In 2008, he returned to Kilcullen to celebrate & give his blessing, at the opening of our new clubhouse! Thank you, Father P & may you now Rest in Peace.

My deepest sympathies to Fr. Price’s family, friends and parishioners. I did not know him personally but occasionally would go to mass in Kilbarrack and Fr. Price always had a beautiful smile and a kind word. He was such a gentle soul. He really had a beautiful presence about him. May he r.i.p.

Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Fr Price. I have so many cherished and wonderful memories of this extraordinary priest. Known for his gentle, caring and deeply spiritual ministry. A passionate advocate for people of all ages.

Fr Cathal Price was a holy man who followed in the footsteps of St Faustina and Fr. Michael Sopocka proclaiming God's infinite Divine Mercy. We thank him for the countless Divine Mercy conferences in the RDS, so informative and prayerful and the courses he organised in Killbarrack. These events helped us greatly in our faith.
Thank you God for his life and may he now enjoy eternal happiness.

Fr Cathal Price was an amazing priest who has left a lasting impact on many communities. I will always remember his house visits to our family home and the hand tricks he used to teach us. Condolences to all his family.

Sad to hear of the death of Fr. Cathal. It brings back memories of all the trips down to Glencree to the Family Healing Masses. By coincidence I found the little blue prayer card only yesterday that we used to use at the Mass. It was all about Healing our Land through personal repentance. I remember Fr. Cathal saying that the Centre for Peace and Reconciliation in Glencree is probably the fruit of all the Intercessory Prayer in Glencree. When I lived in Dublin I loved going to the Divine Mercy Conference which Fr. Cathal was instrumental in founding. It is a marvellous festival of Faith

Fr. Price, thank you for all you did for our schools since 1985. You were an inspirational man and priest, a great visionary and full of compassion, empathy and joy. You have gone to your richly deserved reward, rest in peace.

We were so sorry to hear the news that Fr Price had passed. Such a wonderful and amazing priest. Feel so privileged to have got to know him for the last couple of years but well enough to learn so much from him, his passionate love for the Virgen Mary, to fully trust in the Divine Mercy and specially ‘to persevere’ as he did till the end despite sick or unwell. Father Cathal, you will always be present in our hearts.

Fr Cathal was a very special priest and will be greatly missed. He had the amazing ability of appearing as a young man at certain times. When he first met Peter my husband in our house one evening, Peter thought he was in his early 30s. He was actually 58 at that time!
His devotion to Our Lady, Queen of Peace, The Eucharist and the Divine Merch was exemplary.
