I was blessed to have Father Charlie in my life. I have many fond memories of him and remember his words of wisdom offered over the years. My sincere condolences to the family. Fr. Charlie said he wanted to be remembered as a "man of integrity". He accomplished this in spades wirh a life of service. Before he left Kansas City to return to his beloved home im Ireland I compiled some nuggets of his wisdom, favorite poems (Hound of Heaven" Frances Thompson; "Morte d' Authur" Alfred Tennyson) literature excerpts, and shares and ran by him for accuracy. The last nugget I have in bold is not an attributable quote or from published literature, but his advice to "let people in your life know you love them, tell them!" I love you Fr.Charlie thank you for being a mentor, friend, & a shining example of a life well lived. Condolences to the O'Connor family and all who loved him.
