Sincere sympathy to Fr. Colm's nieces & nephews on his sad passing and to all his extended family. He was blessed with a great long life. I recall him being in St. Michael’s Church, Rathmolyon for the mass & celebrations for the church’s fiftieth anniversary in June 2018; he was enjoying catching up with some of his former parishioners. Fr. Colm having been present at the celebrations there on both sides of those fifty years; 1968 & 2018. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Fr Murtagh was one of a kind, I hold him dear to my heart. He always showed such deep kindness and concern to everyone. I feel very lucky to have known him. May he rest in peace. My sympathy to his family, Sr Regina and close friends.
