Sincere condolences to all the O'Connor family on the passing of Fr. Nelius. He was a lovely, kind, caring man, with a great sense of humour and will be missed by all who knew him.

We fondly remember his time in St.Robert's parish in Fenham, Newcastle upon Tyne, and remained friends when he moved onto further parishes. He loved a good chat & piece of mum's apple pie or cake. He co - concelebrated our father's requiem mass (John Reilly) in December 2023. Forever grateful for his kind & touching words.

You are in our thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
