Sincere condolences to the keating family on the sad passing of David, I’ve great memories of him at St Paul’s in the 80’s and he christened our eldest boy, he was a breath of fresh air at that time may he rest in peace

I can't believe Fr David is gone. One of the best priests we ever had in St Pauls. His sermons were something else. You'd really sit up and listen. We were lucky to have him still come to our church to say mass.
He always acknowledged and commented on the choir when he came to say mass. He was such a lovely priest.

I am so sorry for your loss, Fr David was a lovely, kind, energetic and positive person and he is a massive loss to everyone in SETU.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear of the loss of Father David Keating. I knew David as a teenager through my brother. We had the pleasure of him marrying us in 1990 and he even sung us a song at the reception. He was everything a priest should be. One of my fondest memories is when he came to stay with us in London for a couple of days, we had great fun. You will be missed. RIP David.

Very sad to hear of Fr. David’s death and send my sympathy to all his family and friends. I remember with deep gratitude his kindness and sensitivity at the time of my beloved husband’s death and will always value his considered, inclusive and affirming words during the celebration of Peter’ s funeral mass. I was extremely saddened to hear of the tragic passing of Fr. David Keating. My condolences go out to all David's family and friends on their huge loss.
David held a very special place in my heart, as he presided over the funeral service for my partner, Paul, just eight months ago. He and Paul went to school together.
David paid a beautiful, indelible tribute to Paul which brought such comfort to me and everyone who attended.
In the short time I knew David, his compassion and engaging spirit left a lasting impression. I will never forget his kindness, and I have no doubt he was a source of strength for so many others in the same way.

He was an absolute gentleman and certainly my day was always better for bumping into him in the corridors during my years at what was then WIT. Better again was to listen to him preach, although that almost sounds too strong a word - he had great wisdom and compassion but all delivered in the most gentle of manners.

What a lovely priest .. . Fr keating was ,when we would sing in the choir on Sunday morning at one of his masses in butlerstown the first thing he would say is (wasnt that a beautiful hymm to start our mass with ) we always felt chuffed ,may he rest in peace 🙏

Fr David was a colleague of mine when I worked in SETU and an absolute gentleman. He was so kind and compassionate to all students, always seeking to help and support those in need. I’m deeply saddened to hear of his passing.

David was in school with my brother. I was blessed to have David carry out his funeral service last year. He impacted many people that day. I will always be grateful to him for his compassion and gentleness. May he rest in peace.

I remember Fr David from my time in WIT back in 2005. A lovely quiet unassuming man who’s door was always open and would never see a student stuck or in need. RIP Fr David.

In complete shock to see this.i served david every single day if not twice a day in work.He was the nost kindest,gentlest,funny,man u could meet.had such great chats.He was so good and kind looking after his parents.i will miss him terribly.Rest in peace david.
