Sincere sympathy to Sr Margaret Mary and the Cashman family on the death of Fr Denis RIP. He was so kind to me and a number of teachers from Australia when we made a Nano Nagle pilgrimage to Ireland. We had a wonderful gathering for Mass at the Mass Rock. Fr Denis then took us all for a meal. Will always remember his kindness and generosity. May he rest in peace. Fr Cashman was a devout Catholic. He was was also a firm believer in the Pro Life movement. He saved a lot of unborn babies from the abortion clinics he had campaigned and prayed against abortion all his life Last year in America a large part of his was answered when the abortion clinics shut down. He had many friends in the Pro Life movement including me,Jason Miller, Clayton Wagner, Rev. Donald Spitz.We were all involved in the Army of God. I deliberately slowed down the train for Clayton Wagner that night to help him and his wonderful cause .I am so sorry for your loss.
