Our sincere condolences to Fr.Gerrys Family. I knew Fr. Gerry through Youth 2000 and he was one of the celebrants at my Husband and I's wedding. He was very kind and visited me in hospital after I had brain surgery. Rest in Peace Fr. Gerry. You will be missed.

Dear Fr Gerry, thank you for all your love and care for the people involved in Charismatic Renewal, especially in those early years. Thank you for officiating at our marriage and our daughter's marriage and baptising our first child. You always exuded the joy of the Lord and had that mischievous twinkle in the eye as you shared some joke or other. May the Good Shepherd himself, now take you in his arms and carry you gently home. Rest now in Peace, dear Fr Gerry.

Fr Gerry was a very good friend to our family. A very kind soul. When I saw him in James a few weeks ago he had his same loving personality - lots of chatting and laughter. He will be missed. X

He officiated at our wedding in 1993. He regularly called her via WhatsApp during her illness to check up and to see how she was doing. He always had a smile and a warm welcome even when his own health was failing. He will be missed. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dilis.
