I have only recently heard of Fr Jimmys passing, my sincere condolences to his family on their loss, may he reap his rewards in heaven & rest in eternal peace

Father Jimmy baptised me and although I obviously don’t remember that event itself, I had the fortune of meeting him on many occasions and have very fond memories of him; a vibrant and colorful soul.

Jimmys dad lived next door to us on Arden Road Tullamore and every time he was home from the missions he would come to visit.

He celebrated Mass there when he was home on holiday. He was an absolute gentleman and a very kind and lovable priest with a great sense of humour.
