I have fond memories of my interactions with Fr. Hurley. He touched a lot of lifes during his time with us.
I found him to be a very reasonable and fair headmaster. He would always listen to students and he knew the times when the rules could be overlooked.
Fr. Jim was headmaster for my time in Rockwell 84-90. He reformed the school in his tenure and was a huge influence on the student body. My sincere condolences.
I was in Rockwell from 1961-1964 and was close to Fr Jim. My father ,Con Lawton and he were great friends and we pass on our thanks and our condolences to the Hurley family.
