I loved popping into see you in the nursing home . You always greeted me with a big smile. RIP .

My deepest condolences to Fr Jim's family and relations on your loss. Very fond memories of Jim while he was in Killinarden and his advice and help while i was stationed in Tallaght. A person who really worked hard for his community often in difficult circumstances.

I was so proud of Jim as the parish priest of my home parish of Hacketstown and so delighted at the deep faith and love he brought to his ministry there. Thank God for the gift of you Jim and may you now rest in the love of the Heart of Christ whom you represented so deeply. Thank you Jim and thanks to all the McCormack family for such a gift.

I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Fr. Jim. I have fond memories of dealing with him down through the years, doing work for the churches and schools etc of the parish. He was a good man, great sense of humour..always a pleasure meeting him. My sincere condolences to the McCormack family, and extended family and all who knew him. He'll be sadly missed.

I met Fr Jim back in the 90s during my time working for the Cathedral parish. Although our encounters were purely through a diocesan draw i always enjoyed meeting him. A kind and gentle soul. May he rest in peace.
