Our deepest sympathy on the death of your beloved uncle. Fr. Kane was a dear friend of my husband Patrick,also a transplanted Irishman ,from the time James arrived in Orange till Paddy died. Fr. Kane presided over our wedding along with Fr. Dooley. I think the last time we saw James in person was in Dublin, Ireland-though always in touch. Our sons, Dominic and John and I will remember Fr. Kane fondly for his humor,intelligence, faith being ever grateful for his friendship through all these years. May James Rest In Peace.
