O’Rourke frequently visiting our family, following the death of our beloved brother, Bernard. His compassion and support was of tremendous benefit to all of us, especially our late Mother. We will forever remember his kindness and his wonderful sense of humour. What an invaluable contribution he has made to so many families like ours, providing much needed guidance in times of grief. May Fr. O’Rourke now rest in eternal peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones.

Fr. John was a true priest of the Church and spoke the truth in season and out of season, convenient and inconvenient. He spoke the truth which is a rarity in today's world. May the Lord receive Fr.
