Fr Kieran was so highly thought of by my family in Main St, in anticipation of his visits the excitement was such that the Pope himself was visiting. I remember and treasure his many visits, it was always a pleasure and privilege to meet him. May his gentle soul rest in peace

My sincere sympathy to all the Dodd family on the sad death of Fr Kieran. Lovely memories of meeting him when he came home on holidays to his native Boyle. He came to my house some yrs ago to visit me and blessed my house. He always told me of the close friendship his family had with my O Dowd family down the yrs. We always got our groceries in Dodds wonderful shop and knew all the family very well. They were lovely people. May the light of Heaven shine on his soul. Ar dheis De go raibh a anam dilis.

Sincere sympathy to the Dodd family. We had the privilege of having Father Kieran Dodd in our parish of St Vincent’s for 13 years. We became great friends and will cherish that forever. Rest in peace.

Very deepest sympathy to all the extended Dodd families and friends on the sad passing of Fr. KIERAN. From memory Fr.Kieran was ordained with my late brother Fr.Joe Marmion Loughrea and they were great friends.l am so glad to see Fr.Kieran had a long life in the priesthood sixty years ordained 10th June 1962 in Thurles. Joe died suddenly in Loughrea 23rd August 1998 just after saying mass in St.Brendans Cathedral Loughrea home on holidays from Great Falls Montana where he spent 36 years. God rest their gentle souls Amen.X
