Fr. Leo Donovan was one of the most beautiful and noble people I ever met. He would always try to accommodate you in any way he could. He was a living saint in every aspect. He married me and my wife, and he baptized our only child, Nicholas Leo, who was also his godson. There are no words to describe the affection my family and I have for Fr. Leo. He was greatly loved, just as he will be greatly missed. His memory is a blessing and will live on in our hearts. I know he is flying high with all the saints and angels. Forever loved deep within our hearts.
Fr Leo was my Manager and friend when I worked at Arima Girls RC school from 1990 to 1998 and he was Our Parish Priest ,a truly beautiful human being and a great friend.RIP Fr Leo.
Fr. Leo had a profound impact on my life in so many ways. He performed my baptism and administered my first communion. He was always there for me and my family. He is my godfather, an inspiration, and an excellent role model for me. He inspired me and continues to do so every day. He was very compassionate, gentle, honourable, and genuine. A true saint who walked the earth and diligently served the Lord. His love for people was truly sincere and genuine. He never turned away anyone who sought his help. You will not find a kinder or more sincere person in this world. His love for dogs was simply extraordinary. No words can express how much he meant to me and my family. Fr Leo Your presence in my life has always been a blessing. Thank you for being there for me; you are my precious and beloved, Fr. Leo. Your presence in my life has always been an absolute blessing. Your memory is a treasure; you will always be remembered and forever loved. You are forever engraved in the depths of my heart. I love you, Fr. Leo Donovan. Those we love don't go away; they walk beside us every day."
Fr. Leo seved for many years at my parish at Fatima church in Curepe. He always reminded me of my Irish surname and had a very powerful and engaging voice. Rest in peace Fr. Leo and fly with the angels.

What a precious priest Fr Leo was! I am so grateful for his hearing my confessions at St Anthony's in Petit Valley, Trinidad over the years - his special warmth, his love of music, the time he took to chat, although he was a man of few words. I was privileged to convey my gratitude to him for his priesthood when he had just returned to Ireland. May he rest in eternal peace. May his family and friends be mercifully consoled. I offer my deepest condolences. In prayerful gratitude...

Sincere condolences to all of Nelius’s family in Limerick and Dublin. I have fond memories of him visiting Limerick over the years. Thinking of ye all at this time.
Fr Leo baptized our children and was instrumental in our son being an acolyte. He also was very involved in the confirmation of our sons. Unlike other priests Fr Leo would at each session come and give a small homily on the Sunday mass gospel and say the rosary with the candidates. We will always cherish him in our fondest memories! May he be greeted by God's angels as he is welcomed into the heavenly banquet.
