My condolences to the O'Loughlin Family and the Columban Fathers on the passing of Fr. Mick. I was fortunate to spend some time visiting with Fr. Mick back in July in Dalgan. He had just come back from visiting family in Ennis and was happy to tell how much he enjoyed his time there. May he rest in Peace.

Father Michael was a very special kind of human being always wanting to help and support those in need. I had the privilege of knowing him for a few years. May he rest in peace knowing he made a difference in peoples lives. With sympathies Dr Quigney

He was a faithful friend of Apostolic Work as was his brother Fr Peadar before him.

He always had a love of his native town of Ennis. Born in Ennis on the 29th September 1935 to Peter & Margaret O' Loughlin (Nee Maher). Educated at the Convent of Mercy & CBS Ennis. He was ordained a Columbian priest on 21st December 1960. When he retired from the Missions 2003 he came home to Ennis where he assisted in the Parish of Ennis.
