I met Fr Cox when I worked as a nurse in Kimmage Manor. I enjoyed all his stories about his family, his unusual path to the priesthood, his illness while young, his being sent to Keyna, and subsequently to USA. I admired so much his talent as an artist and I was always very happy in his company.
May dear Fr Cox Rest In Peace.

Rest in peace Fr. Noel from the Smith & Craddock Family
Dearest Uncle Noel, nobody could have wished for a kinder more loving uncle. Uncle Noel had an untiring interest in the world around him and a warmth of love for all his family and friends. I have wonderful childhood memories of visiting Uncle Noel in Kenya and touring the Catholic missions supported by the Holy Ghost fathers. He was greeted with warmth, love and laughter by all. In more recent years he undertook day trips from Dublin down to Clonmel to visit and be with my ailing dad (Paddy). It was a long way to come for such a short visit but he insisted saying ' I love and want to be with my little brother ' ...and that's the man Uncle Noel was. My most recent visit to Uncle Noel was in January with my daughter Emma. The nursing home was closed due to flu and so we couldn't enter. Instead we had an amusing chat in the cold January darkness , Emma and I in the front car park and Uncle Noel at the window of his bedroom, calling up and calling down! So Uncle Noel that was our last but entertaining chat ! You will be forever in our hearts love Susan
Uncle Noel will be missed dearly had a very open mind about life its lovely that he passed . on all his stories about the family etc Was a great artist and we all have some of his paintings. Was very encouraging to take up hobbies etc to everyone. Was loved by all who new him. May he rest in Peace.
A great confrere and most interesting conversationalist. Used to love chatting with him in recent times in Nazareth House about his life story. I was blessed that he gave it to me to read last year. Just enjoyed hearing him speak of his family, Blessington St and the Basin, Brian Road etc. He spoke so affectionately of his mother who died so young. I can imagine his meeting all those gone before him now 'when every tear will be wiped away' Eucharistic Prayer 3.
Rest in peace Fr. Noel. Thinking of all the family at this sad time.

Our deepest sympathies on the death of our beloved cousin Fr Noel Cox. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family. May he rrst in peace.
Was very sorry to hear about the passing of Fr Noel.
He was a teacher of mine at ST Marys School in Nairobi and a huge source of inspiration in Biology and Life in General. His firmness but kindness always shone through and we hugely respected him in the school community. It was a sad day when he left for other pastures.
Please know that his influence lives on in all of us.
May he rest in Peace.
Very sorry to hear of Father Noel Cox's passing. He and my mother Gaye Fallon nee Cox were first cousins. Deepest sympathies from our family. May he rest in peace.
Very sad to hear of Fr. Noel's passing. He and my uncle Fr Peter Hughes, a fellow Spiritan, were good friends.
Just heard about the passing of Fr Noel. He taught me biology at St Mary's School, Nairobi, Kenya back in the 1960s, and he guided me towards taking up a career in education. Father, I retired a couple of years ago after 40+ years in education, having been a class teacher, back at Saints, a Headteacher in Malawi and Tanzania, and then an education consultant working on education projects in a dozen different countries of the world. All because one man had faith in me. May Our Lord watch over you now.
