So sorry to hear about the death of my friend Fr. Noel Doyle. Noel and I became friends back in 1975. Noel was a great friend and I am going to miss his sense of humour, as well as our telephone chats.

We are Ingatestone parishioners.and very much enjoyed Fr Noels company. He visited us often for a meal.
I was MC & Pastoral Assistant at St Johns so was priveleged to be on the sanctuary with him. A very kind and caring priest and will be much missed

My condolences to Mary, Martin, the whole extended Doyle family, Paul, friends and neighbours, on the passing of dear Noel. Noel was a kind and gentle man, with a great ease for laughter and a wonderful smile, (just like his mum, aunty Molly). He will be sadly missed by so many.

Sincere sympathy to the Doyle Family on the passing of Fr. Noel. I met him when I was very young when Mr & Mrs Doyle lived next door to my grandmother O'Donovan & aunt Maura (RIP). Nana & Maura were great friends with Mr & Mrs Doyle and almost revered Fr. Noel. Testament to their friendship was that Mrs Doyle was with Nana the night she died in 1985. I remember being in awe of Fr. Noel when he arrived home to Glengarriffe Road with a flashy red Ford Escort in the early 1980's. Several lads like myself would gather around admiring his car when he pulled up outside the house and he would always have a chat with us. May he Rest in Peace.
