Fr Duggan was a priest at St Margaret's Church in Canning Town East London in early 70's.
He became a very close friend to our family. My parents were from Kilkenny Ireland. We met some of Olivers family especially Colm.
Oliver would visit my parents when he visited Ireland from USA as they had retired back to Ireland.
He was a wonderful man and priest. He will be greatly missed.
My sympathy to all his family and friends. RIP Oliver.

Fr. Oliver was the first priest I met when I joined St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in June 1985. Fr. Oliver would have been 47 years old when we met. St. Elizabeth Ann Seton was my mother's favorite saint whom we celebrate each year on January 4th. Fr. Oliver made attending church again after many years a special welcoming feeling. To this day I am still a member of this church. I think of Fr. Oliver ever so often - and view his photo in the halls of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church when I attend mass. He was a special priest to me and he will be truly missed.

Our family extends our sincere condolences to the Duggan family for the passing of Fr. Oliver. My two daughters graduated from Assumption-St. Bridget School where Fr. Duggan beautifully delivered our Catholic faith on a daily basis. He was such a devoted priest who cared deeply for his ASB community. My father and I golfed with him on several occasions and we shared a common love for Carlow Ireland as our relatives, Dr. Fergus Kirk and Dr. Betty Harpur-Kirk resided in St. Mary's Rathvilly. My dad was an international member of the Carlow Golf Club and Fr. Duggan enjoyed dad's stories from his visits to Ireland.

Fr. Duggan has left a legacy at Assumption-St. Bridget School that will benefit students for decades to come. He dedicated his life to communicating the Lord's work and we're forever grateful to have benefited from his devotion to our faith in Seattle!!
