With deep sadness, I read today in St. Agnes's Parish Newsletter of the passing of Dear Fr. Paddy Brewster S.D.B.
Fr. Paddy was a dear friend and a pillar of strength in my 'hour of need', many years ago.
A gentle and kind soul who radiated Jesus's loving spirit in his priesthood.
A lovely photo of a day trip to Glendalough, with Fr. Paddy and Dear Maura Cregg, late of St. Agnes's Park, is a treasured memento. May a chorus of Angels sing you to your heavenly reward in Paradise.

My deepest sympathy to the Brewster family and the Salesian Community. I was a student at Ballinakill for 5 years under Fr. Brewsters care. We all admired his quiet but serious demeanour and he was just right for a few hundred young boys! I remember Fr. Brewster with respect and fondness Ar a Dheis Dé contain a anam.

I have lovely memories of Fr Brewster's kindness to the members of Lorcan O'Toole Day Centre where he celebrated the monthly masses for many years for the older people of Crumlin.
