Sad to hear of Fr. Kilroy's death. I remember him as a very kind and thoughtful chaplain to the Science Faculty in UCD in the 1970s. He was part of a great team in UCD along with Fr. Jim Moriarty, Fr. Martin Murnaghan and Fr. Paul Spellman. It was great to meet him again during his time in Churchtown.

Deepest condolence to all Kilroy family, friends & diocesan priests on Fr Peter's sad passing. Great, kind, cheery, wise, compassionate chaplain in UCD, Rathmines, St V de Paul, elsewhere, long remembered. A gent to his fingertips, good friend, with his generous time & listening ear given to so many students & others, for so long. We were proud to have Fr Peter concelebrate our wedding.
