The epitome of a Capuchin friar. Safe passage to Heaven, Peter.
Condolences to the Rogers and Cooney families and to his brothers in the Capuchin Community on the sad passing of Fr.Peter.
Looking down the corridors of time many thoughts arise. His period in "Roco" was historic as he led the change.from religious to lay superiors and guided the change with his usual guiet calm in the Capuchin spirit. I had the privilege of often getting his advice and encouragement. While he himself was an outpatient I was in the MATER and he came without any concern for himself to give me his blessing and set me on the road home. There was something about his voice.. that inflection that softened everything..yes many thoughts of this great Capuchin who even in his own pain reached out to others and even in the tragic death of his nephew was able to accept the Lord's will.I will miss him... no more texts now just the knowledge that we have another Cap in heaven to put our trust in.
