My condolences to Fr. Phil's family and to his confreres of the Pallotine Fathers. He was a super priest whom I had the pleasure to know while he was serving in Cheddar within our diocese of Clifton in England. He was the third Pallotine priest I knew. I also knew the late Fr. John Guidera who also worked in Cheddar. My father's cousin was the late Fr. Ned Ryan (Dan) who hailed from Turraheen in Rossmore, my father hailed from Rossmore himself. God bless and comfort all who knew and loved Fr. Phil. May the good Lord reward him richly for his faithful service. RIP.
