Deepest sympathy to Aine, Carolyn , the extended Dennehy family., Fr Liam, Fr Tim and Fr Francis

Fr. Philip has been friends with my family for over 50 years. He always loved The Good Shepherd Gospel and modelled his ministry on the example of Jesus in that gospel. He saw his task as to lead and serve his parishioners, always concerned for the welfare of others, never his own. He led by both word and deed . His kind , gentle word in homilies , never judgemental , always encouraging , led so many into a close relationship with Christ The Good Shepherd. He was surely welcomed home with the words ‘ Well done good and faithful servant. ‘
