Deepest sympathy to the Brady family and the Franciscan community on the passing of Fr PJ. He was very understanding and compassionate man and had the ability to communicate with every student that passed through the doors of Multyfarnham. As many other past students mentioned, he was great for the Christmas card and the visit when he was in the locality. He con-celebrated our wedding in '94. He will be missed by many students, but my thoughts are with his own family. He was a great friend to us, he must have been a super brother and uncle to those nearest and dearest. Rest in Peace Fr PJ, it's the least you deserve after all your good works.
Our heartfelt sympathies to all the Brady Families and the Franciscan Order on the sad passing of Fr. PJ, OFM. A very kind hearted, gentleman, who called for a chat and a cuppa, as he travelled from Kerry to Donegal or visa versa. Enquiring always for his past pupils in our area. He sent a Christmas Card every year to touch base. Great memories of visiting him in Multy and Killarney. Fr. PJ was in the same class as my husband Tom in Multyfarnham, in the late '70's. He married us in August 1983 and he concelebrated Tom's funeral Mass in January 2018. We will always keep him in our prayers. May his kind soul Rest in Peace.

I have very fond memories of Fr. PJ from my Agricultural College days in 83/84 & his thoughtful and inspiring sermons in his clerical Franciscan role in Multy Friary. He was one of a kind, who was most interested in encouraging & bringing out the potential of his students & keeping in touch with them, long after leaving Multy. He also had a very special rapport with the local farmers & wider community as well. I remember especially also his many visits to my family home & me, over the years since leaving Multy Friary, where many hours were passed with joyful chat & catch up on many issues including farming, GAA, and spiritual matters. RIP Fr. PJ.

at this sad time. Fr. PJ was a great friend who always kept in touch and called regularly for a chat . May his gentle soul rest in peace.
Fr PJ was a great character, supportive in the college and great to keep in touch afterwards. He was the first man to video me, when that was a big deal, as we prepared for some college competition.

Memories of the robe and the keys jangling and a torch flashing in the window over the bedroom doors, watching out for messing. Not that there would have been any, of course....

Rest in peace, PJ

Sincere sympathy to the Brady Family & the Franciscan Community on the passing of Fr. PJ. I spent a very happy year in Multy in 1988-89 when Fr. PJ was Rector of the College. He was wise, observant, friendly, smiling and always calm. He had a great deep voice. He even looked after the goldfish I was gifted by my fellow students when I went home for Easter holidays. My brother attended Multy 2 years later and Fr. PJ maintained contact with him with cards, phonecalls and a few visits over the years. He made a positive contribution to many peoples lives.
