We were really privileged to have known him over so many years, from his student days (in Esker) with our beloved late brother, Stephen RIP and that friendship was continued when they worked together in North East Brazil. We treasure the memories of visiting Dick and Martin in Fortaleza in 2003. Lusk gentlemen. Dick and his fellow Redemptorists could hardly have been more generous of time and spirit during our visit.

We also remember with great fondness Dick's Christenings of our children in Lusk in 2009. A wonderful occasion enhanced by his presence.
