My deepest condolences to all of Fr Meehans family on his passing. I remember him well from his time as CC in Carrigart/Downings in early 80,s. A lovely gentle priest who was loved by all his parishioners. May he rest in peace.

He was a very quiet spoken man & a lovely priest who will be remembered very fondly by me & my siblings for all
his prayers & visits to our mother following the tragic death of our sister in 1991.

A really lovely, kind priest who was the curate in Carrigart for a number of years in the 70’s. Rest in peace after a life given in the service of others.
