We are so sad to learn of the death of Fr. Seán. He was always such a pleasure to meet, and the warmth of his personality was a blessing and brightened up the lives of those whom he met in Ireland and throughout his selfless work in Brazil.


Looking at his photo on RIP.ie reminds us so much of his Dad John Joe and brings back so many happy memories of visits to Eva & John Joe in Tulla.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Fr. Seán Doyle from this world. Had met Fr. Seán at the Requiem Mass which he concelebrated for our dear friend M/s Rita Hurley, Turnpike, Ennis who died on the 5th of February 2018. The Doyle family and Rita were very good friends from times past. Thinking of you Kathleen especially as this very sad time. May Fr. Sean's gentle Soul now Rest in the Peace of Christ. Amen.

He was very measured and fair and I imagine our somewhat unruly behavior may have been some preparation for his later life in San Paulo.
