We knew Fr Tom from Achill and Wilton, he entered the Seminary the same year as my late brother Fr. Sean Hayes SMA. They crossed paths in Nigeria and later on in Blackrock and Wilton. May his kind soul rest in peace.

We were very sad to hear of the sudden passing of Fr Tom. We'll treasure the memories of visiting him in his garden. His love of family and connections to Louth was infectious and he was very proud of his family. His memories of growing up and stories of farming and experiences in Nigeria were always fascinating and he had a great presence when he entered the room. We'll miss him dearly. May he rest in peace. It was with great sadness to learn of the sudden death of Fr. Tom. He came to Achill Island as our PP and left as a true friend in 2012 but never lost his connection with us all.
