Fr Tom Cunningham C.S.Sp.

May he have Eternal rest . A beautiful gentle soul and a great priest. He was the first priest to have mass in our home . Condolences to his family , community and all who loved him .

Fr. Tom ......a courageous, inspiring and practical priest...a faith leader of character who leaves behind a great witness and inheritance to all who knew his service. May he enjoy the rewards of eternal life.

A man of great discipline and routine with an admirable work ethic.
He came to St. Joseph’s Rockwell to retire and spent many happy years there, always finding jobs to be done. He was transferred to Marian House Kimmage in late 2019 because of failing health.
Fr. Tom had a lovely disposition. He was a wonderful inspiring character, a great priest, a saintly man who endeared himself to everyone. He was very much loved by the staff in St. Joseph’s.
May Heaven be all he hoped it would be.

A great and beautiful Priest, Fr. Tom Cunningham - may you now rest in the arms of Jesus, whom you served so faithfully within the Holy Trinity and, our beautiful Holy Mother Mary with St. Joseph. Thanks for all the spiritual guidance, confessions and advice ... 'Jesus meek and humble of heart, make my heart like onto thine'. A Priest to the end... amen! May God bless you now in abundance for your life's service for Him. Rest in peace dear Fr. Tom.

I knew Fr Tom in Nigeria from 1964 to 1966. He used to go fishing in Lough Erne near my home in Belleek . We remained friends and he often stayed with Frank and I here in Ardee . He was a great priest, a very brave man too , and a terrific Missionary.
May he rest in peace among all who knew and loved him. My sympaties to Eamon , Fr Sean and all his family now many generations long.
