Very sad to hear of the passing of Fr Vincent. Fr Vincent married us in the Adam and Eve church in 1980 and we have fond memories of his friendship. Deepest condolences to Fr Vincent's family
We are sorry to hear of the passing of Vincent. Our sincere condolences to all of his families. Even though we seen Vicent periodically throughout our lives here in Ontario Canada, he was one of us. We enjoyed his visits and his educated conversations. My late father Charles Gallogley and Vincent were first cousins. He married our son Paul and couple other family members. Kim and I were lucky enough to come and visit Vincent before Covid at Ballyshannnon Donegal. He introduced us to family members and toured us around all my Grandfather Dan Gallogley’s stomping grounds. Everything had a story like only he could tell. He was one of a kind, a wonderful human being and he will be forever missed, God bless.
I was saddened to hear of Vincent's + death. I have very fond memories while on placement at Waterford Friary, Lady Lane as a novice. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to share Franciscan Community Life with Vincent who was a valued mentor, sincere human being & a real & practical Franciscan Friar. Loved his Waterford Baps. Rest well Vincent & thank you 😊
It is with great sadness we learn of the passing of the late Fr. Vincent Gallogly, OFM, of Ballyshannon, County Donegal, on 21 September 2025. Just over two weeks beforehand, he was one of the four Franciscans to whom I paid special tribute in my introductory remarks at the Royal Irish Academy, for our new booklet "Memorialising Emigré Dignity – the Cultural Heritage of St. Anthony’s College Leuven", launched on Friday 5 September, and lately reviewed by Fr. J. Anthony Gaughan in "The Irish Catholic", on 2 October 2025. It is very much thanks to him that the memorial book was undertaken, following on the Irish College Leuven's first webinar in October 2020. On behalf of the O'Donnell Clan Association and the Genealogical Society of Ireland, I convey our deepest condolences to his relatives and his Franciscan confraternity in Ros Nuala, Kraainem, Leuven, and beyond. Ar dheis Dé go mbeidh a anam.
My sincere condolences on the passing of Fr. Vincent, who faithfully served the Kraainem Parish in Brussels for so many years. May he rest in peace.
During his time at St. Anthony's, Fr Vincent played a very important role in our family life: he initiated Alison into the Catholic faith, married us and baptised Dominic. He is fondly remembered and remains in our prayers. Rest in peace.
My condolences to Fr. Vincent's family and his fellow Franciscan Friars. Fr Vincent was a good priest, an excellent theologian and a great confesser to deal with in the confessional.
May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Very fond memories of Fr. Vincent during his time in Belgium at St. Anthony's parish. We remember some great homilies, great social occasions, his heart for ecumenism, his sense of outreach and support of programmes such as 'Life in the Spirit' and 'Alpha' and his strong faith. His down to earth origiins in the West of Ireland and Manchester shone through. May he rest in peace and thank you Fr. Vincent
We were sorry to learn of Fr. Vincent's death when he was prayed for at mass in St. Nicholas Church in the centre of Brussels this morning, the same church where he married us many years ago. We will always remember how kind and helpful he was at that time and how special he made the ceremony for us and our families.

RiP dear Fr Vincent, you were the kindest Confessor I have known, always understanding and loving, who would put me at ease by talking about your own feelings and not judge my behaviour. As a parishioner of St Anthony's in Belgium I thank God for you.

We were very lucky to have Fr Vincent as our PP here at St Anthony's Parish in Brussels. Vincent brought his own style to the Parish- a deep faith, energy and a vision. During his time as PP- he oversaw the completion of the church extension, expansion of the parish - whilst carrying out numerous ceremonies to the parishoners - especally the young.
We will miss you Vincent - we feel lucky the Franciscans sent you to us.
Rest easy in heaven .
