Gary and Rory, we were very sad to hear of the passing of your lovely mother. She was a tremendous supporter of the young scouts who went through the ranks of Panama. As leaders, we admired her for her dedication and selflessness for a very important community activity for kids who got an opportunity to thrive and grow in such a supportive and fun extracurricular activity. She was the soul of Panama for so many years. May she rest in peace.

So sorry for your loss. Betty was a trojan worker for Phibsboro scouts. A grear fundraiser, she volunteered for many years after both her sons had left. She was always there when we returned from Annual camps with the burco boiling and tea and biscuits ready for parents and leaders. She ran the weekly Monday bingo for years in the scout hall. Her hands were firmly on the purse strings making sure we were always in good stead and you had to present a good case in order for her to sign a cheque! May she now rest in peace.
