Condolences to all the Burke family I was deeply saddened to hear of Mrs Burke’s passing. She was not only a wonderful teacher to me, but she also taught my two sons, which was very special. She had such a kind nature, patience, and warmth — the perfect personality for teaching. She made a lasting impact on so many lives and will be greatly missed. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends.

I have fond memories of Frances from National School days and in later years went on holidays with herself and Paddy, great company both of them. Francis was a lady who was great fun and always had a smile on her face. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. RIP Frances.

My deepest condolences to the Burke family-Maria, Niall, Declan, Siobhán, Adrian, Karen, and all her beloved grandchildren. Frances began as a neighbour, but she became so much more… a constant, guiding presence in my life. I shared countless days and nights with her, she taught me so much. She especially loved Christmas and made that season magical as she prepared for the big day. Her love for organising bridge games in her warm home providing entertainment and filling it with friendship. Even the simple things, sitting beside the pre-arranged daily fire were moments I will always treasure. A life so full, she will be profoundly missed, never forgotten and always loved.

Ah so sorry to hear about Francis, I was just enquiring about her this week. I have such wonderful memories of Francis, she was so pleasant always. Her claim to fame on the golf course, was that she always brought in a winner on competition day.

Frances, a longtime friend, loved life and lived it to the full. We have many happy memories of golf holidays, at home and abroad, with Paddy and Frances and other friends.
Her card parties of 25 and poker at Christmas time were special, memorable for not just the game but also the delicious home-cooked food and Paddy’s jokes.
Frances might recite The Four Farrellys or Seomra a hOcht, the nights were full of fun and laughter.
An accomplished actress with The Neale Dramatic Society, a competitive bridge player, a great cook, Frances was a very talented lady.
Calm, of generous spirit, and always smiling, we shall miss her greatly.
